GYTC8S is a type of self-supporting outdoor fiber optic cable, which is designed with specialized features that make it suitable for use in aerial applications. It is known for its resistance to moisture and crushing, thanks to its figure 8 structure and polyethylene (PE) sheath. Corrugated steel tape armored and PE outer sheath provide the cable with additional crush and gun shot resistance features.
